CITY MULTI^® offers you the ultimate in freedom and flexibility. Cool in one zone while heating in another. Set up to twenty zones to maximize simultaneous operation:

• eastern exposure/western exposure
• shift in occupancy

Each zone gets the cooling or heating that’s needed at any time.

The Y-Series
Cool or heat with the CITY MULTI Y-Series. The Y-Series uses an inverter-driven compressor, just like the R2-Series to intelligently air-condition up to 19 zones. The Y-Series takes advantage of Mitsubishi Electric's inverter technology to provide the precise amount of cooling or heating to each and every zone. By utilizing T-branches and headers, the Y-Series provides the ultimate in piping design flexibility that is truly simple in application.

The Zoning Advantage
The best way to ensure total comfort for all occupants of any type of application is to divide a building into zones and provide each with its own comfort system. Zoning offers maximum comfort and energy savings because you cool and heat each zone only when it is being used or occupied.

CITY MULTI is a zoning system that takes advantage of inverter technology by varying the speed of the compressor to match the load requirements in each space. There is no need to worry about bypass control of air like a typical zoning system. With CITY MULTI each zone has its own indoor unit that precisely controls the temperature while operating at optimum energy saving levels.

Compact and powerful outdoor units
CITY MULTI's compact and powerful outdoor units have one of the smallest VRFZ footprints in the industry. There are three sizes available for each series: 72,000, 96,000, 108,000 Btu/h, which are available in 208/230 Volts, three-phase, 60 Hertz. Each outdoor unit uses Mitsubishi Electric's inverter-driven scroll compressor that is backed by a six-year limited warranty. This reliable compressor is designed and built by Mitsubishi Electric.

Ductless or Ducted indoor units for Ultimate Flexibility
CITY MULTI’s outdoor (PURY-P108TGMU-A) unit can operate up to twenty ductless or ducted indoor units, making the system ideal for virtually any type of application — or any variety of applications — within the same building. Do you need air conditioning only on demand in a conference room? CITY MULTI does that. Want a central system to cool or heat a large working area all day long? CITY MULTI does that. Need precise temperature control in a confined space with no room for ductwork? CITY MULTI does that, too. CITY MULTI works for you whatever your space and climate control requirements are.

Lossnay Energy Recovery Ventilators
Mitsubishi Electric has responded to the growing need for total, intergrated management of building HVAC and indoor air quality by making it easier to interlocak and control Lossnay® energy recovery ventilators with our air-conditioning systems.
Improved sound attenuation makes Lossnay® units quiet enough for places where silence is a must, such as meeting rooms and libraries. A free-cooling function is standard to help reduce costs and boost efficience. The integrated, bypass damper design makes installation and system management quick and efficient.
